I was honored to participate in DOE’s National Cleanup Workshop this week. The Energy Communities Alliance, in cooperation with DOE and the Energy Facility Contractors Group, has been sponsoring the National Cleanup Workshop each September in the Washington, D.C. area since 2014. I participated in a panel discussion about finding renewed purposes for America’s gaseous diffusion plant complex, highlighting the cleanup successes in Oak Ridge and how that has facilitated industrial development.
