Three new supervisors have been named in the Core Engineering Services group of the Technical and Engineering Services (TES) organization.

Tyler Hughes is responsible for the Mechanical Process Group. Kevin Maddocks now oversees the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls team. Hunter Reilly leads the Civil, Structural, and Architectural team.  All three report to Lucas Tipton in his role as manager of Core Engineering Services.

TES, under Tim McEvoy, has restructured to a matrix organization. Core Service supervisors are the technical authority for their respective disciplines. They are responsible for defining technical approach, excellence, and consistency within their discipline. The other Engineering Managers coordinate with work area stakeholders and prioritize work for their assigned location.

The organization now has five distinct engineering groups, three related support programs, and technology development. The engineering groups are:

  • Cleanup and D&D
  • Core Services
  • Engineering Programs
  • TWPC
  • Waste & Nuclear Operations

Support programs are:

  • Fire Protection
  • Hosting & Rigging
  • Maintenance
