OREM and UCOR hosted a public meeting Thursday featuring poster stations that allowed attendees to interact with subject matter experts. More than 70 people attended the event, held at the Oak Ridge Conference Center.
With this being the first public information meeting in FY 2026, attendees asked questions about goals for this fiscal year. They were particularly interested in the status of cleanup work at Y-12 and ORNL, waste inventory reduction, and reindustrialization at ETTP Heritage Center. The poster stations covered a variety of topics, including Alpha-2 demolition, EMDF updates, and land transfers.
