Sam Dolynchuk will be moving into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for UCOR later this year, replacing Pat Timbes, who is taking a new role within Amentum. Sam currently serves as Performance Optimization Director. In her new role, she will continue the effort to ensure seamless integration between the company’s product lines and operations. She will oversee End State Delivery; Critical Projects; Waste Management and Operations; and Environmental Programs and Stewardship. Pat and Sam have begun transitioning to their new roles, and Sam will fully assume the COO role on Oct. 1.

Pat will be the new Deputy Program Manager and lead Amentum representative for the Southern Ohio Cleanup Company LLC, a majority-owned Amentum limited liability company that will perform cleanup at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant.

Additionally, as work at the Heritage Center begins to transition from cleanup to site closure activities, the Heritage Center Stewardship and Closure Program will be moving from the Environmental Programs and Stewardship organization to the Critical Projects organization under Joe Aylor. This transition will allow the Environmental Programs and Stewardship organization to focus on ORNL and Y-12 soil removal action strategies and nuclear energy advancement and innovation across Oak Ridge. Clint Mori will move from his current role supporting Special Projects for End State Delivery to the Heritage Center Area Project Manager role, reporting to Brad Tune.

Angela Najmola will be moving from the Heritage Center team to the Performance Optimization organization as Senior Project Manager. She will play a critical role in system planning and replanning efforts as UCOR and OREM work toward a single consolidated task order. Clint and Angela’s new roles are effective today.

Please support these individuals as they move into their new areas of responsibility.
