Timecard Submittals and Approvals for Week Ending January 25
In preparation for the forecasted inclement weather, please have your time entered and approved by close of business (COB) Thursday, Jan. 22, for week ending Sunday, Jan. 25, so we can process timecards at 8 a.m. Friday. Please forecast your hours for Friday-Sunday if you are approved to work those days. It is important to double check that your timecard is complete and you have marked it “Approved.”
Building Trades should use the timeclocks as usual.
ATLC /Building Trades Employees: Please submit all temporary rate changes as soon as possible for the week ending Jan. 25.

- Staying informed
The best way to get the latest information on road conditions or other announcements related to the inclement weather is to sign up for UCOR’s mass notification system. The Emergency Services Watch Office (ESWO) sends messages or emails about adverse conditions that may affect you and your workplace, including:
- Weather conditions and natural events
- Hazardous materials releases
- Utility interruptions
- Road conditions
- Security events and/or DOE alerts
If you are signed up for this service, you will be able to receive messages on your work and/or home email accounts and any mobile phone that receives text messaging. You may sign up to receive alerts by supplying contact information for any or all methods on the UCOR Hub Mass Notification Sign Up page.
- You may also find out more information on road conditions or site closures on the UCOR info line at 865-241-INFO (4636). Local television stations will be notified of any delayed starts or closures.
Be prepared for next week
If a site closure takes place due to inclement weather, employees who are authorized to telework are expected to telework during site closures per UCOR guidance. Please remember to take your laptops and chargers home this weekend in case of a delayed start or closure Monday. If we do not have a closure or delayed start but you are uncertain about road conditions, please use your best judgment on whether you can safely make it to work.
