The UCOR Mental Wellbeing Center is hosting a series of events, facilitated by lead counselor, Kenneth Williams, LPC, to help address challenges during different stages of life. Each event will feature a presentation followed by a question and answer (Q&A) session where a panel comprised of UCOR peers will share personal experiences.
February 19: Building the life you want to live in your 20s and 30s
- Topics include establishing a career that matters, dealing with imposter syndrome, relationships, financial literacy, and planning for the future.
- Q&A Panel: Janna Curtis, Mattie Hibbs, Jake Lehman, & a Fidelity Financial Advisor
February 26: Adapting and thriving through your 40s and 50s
- Features topics such as managing career shifts, work-life balance, difficult family dynamics, adapting to role changes, and navigating midlife shifts.
- Q&A Panel: Leah Beckworth, Dean Brewer, & Chris Eich
March 5: Flourishing successfully in your 60s and onward
- Managing evolving social circles, addressing age-related changes, preparing for retirement, and rediscovering identity and purpose will be discussed.
- Q&A Panel: Tom Baker, Tim Hughes, Mary Magleby, and former UCOR ES&H manager, Rodney Kingrea
All sessions to be held at the 701 Scarboro Meet and Train Room from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
