As you enjoy the sunshine and outdoor adventures this summer, don’t forget to take care of your health – and get rewarded for it! If you are enrolled in the Critical Illness and Accident plans, remember that each plan offers a $50 Be Well Benefit for you and your covered family members when you complete a qualifying health screening. Think of it as a little extra reward for staying healthy while soaking up the season!
Filing a claim for your Critical Illness or Accident policy is simple: use your MyUnum for Members online account at services.unum.com or the MyUnum mobile app for the fastest processing. For phone support, call (800) 635-5597. Your Group Accident Insurance provides benefits for injuries from accidents, and your Group Critical Illness Insurance offers a lump-sum payment if you’re diagnosed with a covered illness. Getting your $50 Be Well Benefit is easy, too. Covered screenings include annual physicals, cancer screenings (like pap smears), and cholesterol checks – many of which you might already be doing! To claim, you’ll need your full name, policy or Social Security number, and details about the test (name, date, physician, facility). Learn more about your Be Well Benefit.
