Tomorrow, July 31, is System Administrator Appreciation Day. We’re taking the opportunity to salute the 20 system administers (or SysAdmins) on our IT team.
As the name says, SysAdmins manage, maintain, and secure our IT systems. They handle our IT infrastructure: servers, operating systems, networks, user accounts, etc.
For example, they plan system upgrades, install firewalls and security patches, ensure our systems are backed up, and if a system should fail, they are the ones who quickly get it back up and running. Take a minute today to appreciate how important this team is to our mission success and to say thank you to these colleagues for supporting the work you do every day:
